The Still Earth Centre offers two well appointed units on the banks of the Hughes Dam for overnight accommodation and a wellness centre with Qi-gong and meditation for individuals or groups.
Still Earth is a sanctuary that exists in the middle of a one thousand tree olive grove on the banks of historic "Hughes Dam" at the foot of the Southern Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Hughes Dam is one of the very few permanent water holes between there and Alice Springs and as such, it is a very special place. It was used extensively from 1877 onwards as a watering stop over for the drovers of the time, now it is a beautiful, peaceful place to sit back, relax and reset.
Owned by the North family for 25 years it has been lovingly restored to its original state of beauty and serenity. You will find in Still Earth a place that imbues a feeling of peace, of clarity, of beauty and spirituality. It is a place, as we say, "to live life on your terms". The Centre offers you the opportunity to exist and learn with one day events, two day retreats and a series of workshops designed to get you back in touch with who you really are, to refresh and revitalise the self, and to begin to open the doors to living life on your terms.

Cost $110 per person
Departing at 11.00 am we'll call in to our local Baker Bears Cafe to grab a barista-made coffee.
We'll enjoy our brew on the drive over Collaby Hill track with great views to Beetaloo Valley Reservoir where you can do a short walk overlooking the beautiful water and surrounds. The tour continues into the historic township of Laura where the famous South Aussie Golden North ice cream is made, then on to Stone Hut Bakery where a rustic, gourmet pie and drink of your choice are included. After lunch we'll drive to Wirrabara to see the painted silos and then take the stunning Port Germein Gorge as our route home, stopping to visit a small winery where you can choose to have wine tasting or a Devonshire tea with fresh scones.
